PETER PAN
Ambiana had a part in Moving Light’s production of Pete Pan on JUNE 3rd and 4th. She played a Lost Child!
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE:
It seems like April has lasted 3 times as long, we have 6 days of rain then a day of sun, repeat for the last 2 months. Luckily concrete work works well in the rain, keeping the cement moist as it cures for maximum strength and the rain keeps the black flies at bay but beware that one day of sun when they swarm. Coconut oil all over the face and arms is a great relief, they still hover but it keeps them from biting. With the footer in place I set the first course of blocks in mortar upon it and then started stacking the walls. The walk-in basement as we are calling the 1st floor will be an amalgamation of wood and concrete block walls. I am making block walls where the wall will be underground and then will build wood walls where it rises above the earth. With the walls stacked I am now ready to fill the blocks with rebar and concrete and bond them together with the surface bond cement.
