Ambiana flew home on Friday to spend Wiki’s Birthday Weekend with her, Maple and Eliana in Montreal so it was just Jakobi, Colleen and me who departed the Beach House on Saturday. We drove 7 hours to Cape Hatteras North Carolina on the Outer Banks where we paid mucho dinero for 2 nights at a deluxe KOA right on the beach! There was a pool and hot tub, air conditioned bathrooms with hot showers and a beautiful stretch of dune backed beach
We spent all day Sunday on the beach. The water was refreshingly cool after the warm waters of Folly
On Saturday night a ferocious thunder storm threatened to collapse our tent only the vigilance of Colleen Kutin who stayed up and supported the poles while Jakobi and I slept obliviously saved the day.
Saturday night was the full moon which rose beautifully amongst the clouds lighting up a golden path upon the waters of the sea.
