Ambiana flew into Boston from LA on Thursday May 2nd and met up with me at the Arlington pick-up site for Farmers To You completing her Around-The-World Gap Year Adventure. It had been four months since I last hugged my daughter at Heathrow Airport in London, England. I was so happy have her along for the drive home to Vermont and to hear of her adventurous last weeks in Hawai’i and California!

Ambiana’s Last Few Days in L.A.
All-Species Day 2024
We spent a wonderful 2 days re-integrating Ambiana back into our family. She’s back in her room and the bunny is out in the outdoor hutch. It was fun to watch Ambiana unpack and clean and sort all her gear. She is a bonafide world traveler now! We went contradancing on Saturday night and on Sunday we joined the All Species Beltane Celebration at Hubbard Park.
It rained the whole time and the turnout was sparse which made for an intimate ceremony.
KATE CAME TO ALL SPECIES DAY!!!
Ambiana’s friends Elle and Emma joined us in the park and we all paraded together through Montpelier to the Statehouse.
U-32 Theater @ the Statehouse
On Friday Colleen, Ambiana and I went to the Statehouse at 9am where the U-32 Theater Troupe was recognized for their drama “Unspoken Word” which advanced through the state drama festivals all the way to the New England Drama Festival. It was fun to be at the statehouse and be recognized by the lawmakers of the state. We even got to see our friend Dave Zuckerman the Lt Governor and he showed us his office!
