June is here, the leaves are fully out as are the black flies. We had 4 days of 90 degree weather with high humidity then for the weekend a cold front blew in and the overnight temps dropped into the 30’s. From summer and swimming in the pond we went back to early spring and sweaters and knit hats. We did notice that the cold nights seemed to get rid of the bugs!. Jakobi has been busy building furniture for our deck! She made the 2 chairs on the end, the Adirondack chair I scored in a free pile.
This is the wood for the interior and exterior of the tree house. We really are going to finish it this summer. I spent the weekend working on planking the ceiling.
Lucia, one of the FTY site hosts in Lexington & Arlington made an apron out of a torn FTY bag.
I completed the eighth cement & shell tile segment for the ring around the large tile that will go on our bathroom wall above the tub. All the shells and stones are ones I collected over the last 30 years.
