Around the home
Our friends Colleen and Michael from Columbus Ohio came to visit us July 13th for 6 days. We had lots of fun with them, swimming in the pond and below the Long Trail in Johnson, moving lots of lumber up to the building site and just plain hanging out ’round the fire.

SolarFest
We headed out Thursday the 19th to Tinmouth for SolarFest. Both Colleen and I were presenting and here we set up camp under a beautiful sunset sky.

We spent a majority of the festival at the kids tent.
Theater in the Woods is our favorite Solarfest activity!
There was a musical petting zoo with lots of instruments to choose from.
Colleen led a Fairy House Building workshop!
After Solarfest we headed down to Manchester to spend the night at Bonnie and Oliver’s Earth Sky Time Farm

Falcon Ridge Folk Festival
On Monday the 23rd we arrived at Falcon Ridge for our early security volunteer shifts
We spent Tuesday at Bash Bish Falls

Grandma arrived on Thursday!
Grandma turned 74 on Wednesday the 25th (and Gaelen in Ohio turned 11)
Our friends Jamie, Deeno and Illiana arrived on Friday
and Andrea too!
Jakobi turned 3 on Saturday. We made her a crown!
We celebrated with Ice Cream!
And Grandma brought presents!
After the festival on Sunday we had a pizza dinner and a piece of cake with 3 candles for Jakobi because she told us she isn’t 3 until she has cake!
