We arrived back in Vermont at 11pm on Friday April 28th. We were so happy to see JB who was checked in upon by our neighbor Rory a few times while we were gone. We missed the little b%#ch.

Worcester Clothing Swap

Less then 12 hours later we were at the Worcester Clothing Swap adding to our wardrobes. Tracy Staples came up from Baltimore as it is Karen’s last swap as she is moving to Connecticut in June. Worcester will miss her dearly, not only did she organzie the swap twice a year she ran the Wednesday Community Lunch year round.

Pass Over at LNT

On Sunday April 30th I went to the 2pm Matinee of Pass Over. Orlando Grant who was awesome in the U-32 musicals, Sweeny Todd and Cry-Baby had a part in it. It was incrediby moving, a sort of mash up between Do the Right Thing and Waiting for Godot. Perfectly captured the racial dynamic prevelant in our America. I was moved to tears.

HOBARtfOSS

Spring has sprung, the trees are turning green and we christend our waterfall with an Icelandic name! (the t is silent)

Powerspout Hydropower up and running in anticipation of our chicks and duck arriving who will be in need of a warm light for a few weeks!

Adamant Half Marathon Relay Winners!

The Adamant Half Marathon was this past Sunday May 7th and Colleen and Ricarda placed 1st in the Womens Relay!

I ran with Mack Gardner-Morse and even though my knee gave me some trouble and I walked the last 1.5 miles of my 8 mile leg we still smoked the competition and won the Men’s Relay
