Ambiana’s final H.S. Musical performances were this past weekend with four shows running from Thursday through Saturday. Colleen and Jakobi went to opening night (I was on my Boston Run for FTY) as well as Friday and Saturday nights. I went Friday night and to n=both shows on Saturday. Ambiana had a plum part playing the role of Fastrada, the conniving step mother to Pippin.
She was on stage alot also having a role in the ensemble. The show was 2 hours and 15 minutes long but did not feel that long as it was enjoyable fom start to finish with incredible performances from not only Ambiana but from Jack in his role as the Leading Player and Thelonius in his role as Pippin.
There was lots of comedy, singin and dancing.

Ambiana had the showstopping number “Spread a Little Sunshine” just before intermission where she got to show off her triple threat acting, singing and dancing skills.

As good as Ambiana was as as Fastrada it was in the 2nd act where she truly shined in the role of the Pig. Ambiana has taken many years of dance, music and theater classses and she poured all that training into this seemingly minor role and positivley glowed. I have seen Ambiana on stage in performances since she was four years old and can honestly say that this is her best performance to date.

The weather Thursday through Sunday was positively Summer-Like with temperatures in the 70’s & 80’s. All that deep snow we still had last weekend did not stand a chance and is almost all gone. Here Colleen is cooling her butt and having a snow snack during a break in her Spring Cleaning of our yard.
