Little Hobie-Hawkins Pond Loop
Finally a weekend without rain! On Friday Colleen headed up Little Hobie. this time with a compass and a topo map on my phone and we reached the summit in 45 minutes.
This is the first time we have hiked the loop in the summer and it was soooo green and lush with lots of big beautiful 450 million year old Ordovician ocean floor sedimentary rock!

On Saturday Jakobi went to the big New England’s Track meet in Connecticut while Colleen had a training, Ambiana went mountain biking and I went out with Mark to Bent Nail’s Street Party.
Annual Father’s Day Hike w/ the Dube’s
Sunday was Father’s Day and we hooked up with the Dube’s for our annual Father’s Day Hike. We decided on Mt Elmore since it was nearby and had a fabulous time hiking the loop.
The weather was fantastic and afterwards we had a grill out at the Dube House in Worcester.
