Halloweeny weekend is upon us. We went into Burlington Friday to see the Wood Brothers at the Flynn and after the concert we walked back to our cars amidst the horde of young collegians in Halloween costumes. So many years spent with the kids trick or treating in Montpelier and Worcester I forgot about the college scene during Halloween.
A view of Hobie and Little Hobie from Robinson Hill Road in Calais. I was picking up scaffolding from a friend to access the roof where we are tracking down a leak around the stovepipe. Hired a local guy to scope it out with experienced roofing eyes and he said what I had going on looked good but he did identify a few cracks in the tar around the pipe and filled them in. Hopefully this solves the ingress of water during heavy rains.
Friday night in Montpelier with Jakobi before heading to Burlington. Shops and restaurants are re-opening 3 months after the flood.

Ambiana and Erika spent this past week in Austria with Ben’s family: Carolina, Eva Luna and Aveah. Ben is in AK working an Ironworker job.
