Colleen and I went dancing at the Zenbarn on Friday night with our friend Mark and on Saturday he hosted the Worcester Mud Season Variety Show which made it’s return after a 6 year hiatus!
April 5th 2025 Hands Off Protest in Montpelier, VT
Also Saturday was the Nationwide Protest against the Trump/Musk Agenda and I headed into Montpelier to be a part of it.
I spent 3 hours listening to speeches and music and walking around and reading all the signs.
It was a very large crowd, bigger then the 3rd of July celebrations and very vocal.
It ended with a march that kind of went nowhere as it looped along the bike path and seemed more of a way to disperse the crowd than anything else.
Long Trail Hiking!
Ambiana and Tim set out Friday to hike a portion of the Long trail from South of the Appalachian Gap to Rt 2 and we hiked on Sunday towards Camel’s Hump to meet them.
They hiked over 30 miles in 3 days through deep snow and were happy to encounter snow free trail on this last portion.
We drove them back to their car at the trailhead and then went out for dinner at Julio’s1

Me and Sebastian are spending lots of time together. Movies this week include “Roadhouse”, “The Last Breath” and the chilling and excellent German “All’s Quiet on the Western Front”.
