Jakobi and I went cross country skiing on Friday instead of downhill because she has a gymnastics meet on Saturday and did not want to be sore.
We skied the V.A.S.T. trail across the pond from our house and came across this beautiful view of Little Hobie Mt. at the foot of which sits our humble homestead.

On Saturday Jakobi had her gymnastic meet. It was a chance to be judged and get used to the competitive process. She competed on the Uneven Parallel Bars, the Vault, The Beam and the Floor Exercise.

On Friday we went out to dinner at Hoagies in Morrisville. It was the first time we had been out to eat since last March. It was not weird at all even though we all wore masks and were seated far from other tables. The burger I had tasted so good as did the sundaes we had for dessert,
