Jakobi has moved her bed into Ambiana’s room during the pandemic and they have turned her room into the painting room. Jakobi has gotten really good at drawing and painting and Ambiana shares the art supplies she gets from U-32 for her painting class. Distance learning sucks and if this continues into next year Ambiana has expressed her desire to be 100% homeschooled again. But they do love having lunch delivered. VT rocks!
Saturday Long House Night
On Saturdays we have been heading up to the long house for some county line dance competitions on the Wii. This Saturday I removed the barrel stove from the fireplace and built an old fashioned fire in the Rumsford. It was the 1st fireplace fire in probably 3 years. It was so nice to chill in front of it while the girls howled away upstairs working their way through the Wii Play games. Jakobi again was Country Line Dance Champ
Yogurt
I have been getting Raw Milk from our neighbors and making yougurt. So simple: add 1/4 cup of yogurt to a quart of milk, shake and then place behind the wood stove or this week, because fires are becoming unnecessary, I put the yogurt in the oven and heated it to 200 degrees for 1/2 hour and then turned it off and let it sit over night.
Friends
Vermont has seen a significant decrease in new cases the last 2 weeks so we felt it was time to be with our friends again. We met Christine, Nora and Levi at the Ladd Field in Worcester to play some baseball, work in the garden and let the kids be kids with each other again.
Treehouse Update:
We are getting on the treehouse after many years of ignoring it and planto finish it this summer. I thought it would be nice to have power out there so this weekend I wired in 6 outlets and a light.

Still 1,200 + orders but we have it down now and it goes much smoother, even the rain does not deter us much anymore as I have a stack system in the truck to access every order while keeping them out of the rain. We are looking ahead to expansion as we have over 3000 people on a waiting list and are looking for a new warehouse/hub space in the area going form 6,000 square feet to 16,000 square feet
