Skiing Out the Door…
We had a couple bid snowfalls in the first two weeks of March and Colleen and I took advantage to explore old logging trails in the woods near our homestead.
We found a nice trail across from Shepard Hill that took us up a creek to a series of ridges and outcroppings nested one within the other.
A nice view of Hobart Mountain from the top of one of the ridges.

Equinox Egg Hunt & Toss 2022
On Sunday March 20th we celebrated the Equinox with a return to a full on Egg Hunt and Toss after 2 years of a limited guest list
Sixty people braved the roads of Mud Season Worcester to attend. Our neighbor Holly stationed her tractor at the biggest sinkholes on the road to pull people through! We even met some new neighbors and their young kids which we were happy to have as all our kids are getting big.
After a potluck brunch Colleen told her story, the kids rushed off to find the eggs and the adults sauntered up the hill to find their eggs and some Heady Topper among the trees.
Kellen, Maia, Eliana, Ambiana, Sylvan, Jakobi, Nora and Levi after the Egg Toss
The Egg Toss drew it’s biggest field of competitors yet and Kristen and Loren, in their 1st Egg Toss beat out Mark and Corrina, also in their 1st Egg Toss, to be crowned EGG TOSS CHAMPIONS 2022
