Gaelen came to visit us this weekend, the first time I’ve seen him since October, the girls saw him in February at Mt Snow. We had a fun filled weekend and spent Saturday afternoon and night at the Green River Reservoir with Tara and Thomas.
We had a canoe and for kayaks and paddled out to our favorite campsite #34!
It was a cool afternoon and evening so we got right to work on the fire and spent most of our time around it cooking sausage and marshmallows and playing games.

Adamant Half Marathon Relay
Before we headed out to the reservoir Ambiana and I ran the Adamant Half Marathon as a relay. She ran the first 8 mile leg while I did the remaining 5 miles. She came in at 1:13:00 and I ran my section in 38 minutes. We beat at least tow of the 10 other relay teams. It was super fun to run a race with Ambiana. Check out our results here.
We destroy the Piano!
We got the old piano out of the basement and took a sledgehammer to it and then burned it. We saved the heavy part with the strings to make some windchime piece of art with.
Construction Update: Sauna
Go the rafters and the roof on the sauna. The Color is Evergreen!
