Paddling the Lamoille River
On Monday June 26th Colleen and I joined Machu and Kate and paddled a stretch of the Lamoille River in Morrisville. We left our cars at the take out and biked on the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail to the put in where we had dropped our boats,
Colleen and kate’s friend Jean-Marie and her dog joined us there and they all got in the canoe while I paddled solo in a kayak.

It was a lazy paddle to the Oxbow in Morrisville, maybe a 5 mile stretch of the river. We took ur time and stopped for a swim pulling out right before a massive rainstorm.
Bobi Goes To Camp

Jakobi spent the week at The Barre Opera House from 8:30am to 4:00pm in a Musical Theater Camp. It was for ages 10-16 but everyone there with the exception of her and one other boy were 10 years old. She enjoyed it anyway and on Friday we were treated to a medley performance of great show tunes.
EVITA
On Thurday I stayed in Boston and went an saw EVITA at the American Repretory Theater in Cambridge. I had never seen it before or heard anything from it other than “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”. It was staged beautifully and the singing and dancing were amazing. One of the best sets I have ever seen at the Rep. I slept over in Liz McNerney’s basement and got up at 6am to drive back to Vermont.
Jamie, Drea, Lili and Pongo Visit
Jamie and Andrea and Eliana were up from Milis MA, they dropped Orlando off at a summer long camp here in Vermont.
They stopped in at Red Hen and got lunch from Ambiana. Ambiana and Jakobi then travelled down to Milis on Saturday and picked up Drea and Lili and together they all went to see Ed Shereen in concert at Gillette Stadium.
