Moving Light’s Spring Ballet “Illuminated” was this weekend. Three performances at 7pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I co-wrote it with Christine last year but it was not performed because of the pandemic. She decided to mount an outdoor production this year at Peck Orchards in East Montpelier.
Ambiana who favored Track over Dance this Spring dropped out but Jakobi had two dances plus a spot in the finale. She danced a distracted cell phone user and a consumer
The outdoor venue was beautiful with sweeping views in all directions. The rain held off on Friday until after the production but fell during the final 2 dances on Saturday, Sunday was gorgeous and rain free.
I portrayed the right side of the hear during the Transformation scene.
I wrote a part for our friend Mark Powell the Turtle Man as a giant sea turtle.
The whale was amazing!

Ambiana’s friend Maple has a car and has had her license for 6 months so she can drive her friends around,
Ben’s Sailing Trip in AK
My brother Ben is wrapping up 30 years in Alaska and just completed a 30 day sailing trip in Prince William Sound to ski and climb. He is selling his boat and land and moving to Austria with his family.
Construction Update: Sauna
I am shingling away on the exterior of the sauna as well as mortaring rocks to the back wall where the stove pipe will rise.
