We left home at 7pm, made it across the quick fix on Eagle Ledge, stopped at the coop for some snacks and then commenced to drive non stop to Pattie’s house in Charleston SC
Colleen drove the first shift from 7pm-2am to a rest stop in New Jersey where I took over and drove from 2am-6am where Ambiana took over and she drove the rest of the way to Pattie’s where we arrived around 3pm! It was a super smooth trip and none of us could believe we had been in the car non-stop for 17 hours.

Susanna and Oona had arrived earlier in the day and we got a big surprise…
…when Katie popped out of the back seat of Pattie’s car. She flew in a day earlier than Bob and Maya because she is on her way to Mexico after the Beach House for a Spanish immersion course.
Gaelen and Heather had escaped the flooding by leaving Wednesday night and taking their time traveling south with a stop at a cave in Virginia and they arrived shortly after us!
It was super fun to be all together again and we laughed and talked and ate and then all slept in the living room!
