Winter is the time to grab the sled and go whizzing’ down the hill.
The Pump House @ Jay Peak
On the 25th, being pagans we do not have a tree with gifts, instead we wake up early and drive 60 miles North to Jay Peak to frolic in the new Indoor Water Park,the Pump House. $ water slides including one you have to enter via a chamber in which the floor drops out and plummets you 40′ at 40mph up and through a loop.
Day after Snow
6″ of snow fell over 3 days and we hung out with the McClaines in the snow and did some skiing.
Construction Update
The long house site slumbers
Hooked up the solar panel to batteries inside as when batteries are not fully charged they can freeze and crack the housing. We are getting maybe 3 hours of sunlight if it is sunny so are running only lights and our cell booster untilwe get the hydro installed.
