On Sunday the 24th of September, the 2nd day of Autumn Jakobi’s friend Thomas celebrated his 16th birthday with a day at the corn maze with several friends, his mom, Colleen, me and Jakobi.
With such a big group I did not expect to set a record. Even though we split into several groups we seemed to wander for hours in the same part of the maze.

Eventually we made it to a new addition to the maze, an indoor space which was blacklight nad neon and super cool and after that we quickly found our way out!
Definitely not a record except maybe for longest time to solve the maze.
Meanwhile back home I am applying the Japanese wood scorching technique, Shou Sugi Ban, to the boards I am using to replace the ones that are rotted out on the Long House Deck. This is supposed to make the boards weather and rot resistant. We shall see…
