Mochi in the Morning was twice weekly radio show on KEUL 98.5fm in Girdwood Alaska that
was broadcast from August 1997 to December 1997 when the station shut down to comply
with an FCC order in order to begin the process of transitioning from
a pirate radio station to a FCC licensed station.
Mochi broadcast his morning show on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6am to 10am,
a morning pebble in the awakening dawn helping to bring listeners from the dreamstate
into the waking state. The show combined diverse musical selections with in-studio remixes and a
a reading of both the astrological Sabian Symbol for the day and the daily Mayan Calendar
for a unique interpretative guide to greeting the coming day!
