We took a Saturday trip t St Johnsbury to the Fairbanks Museum

Long Island NY Camping Trip
Momma got cabin fever and wanted to be on the beach sowe loaded up the mini van, picked up Gaelen and headed to Long Island.
The first night we tried to set upour tent in agale and broke a pole so we all slept in the van,waking up early in the rain and driving off to find the beach where we had it all to ourselves.
We came up with a beach frisbee game and Gaelen proved to be the champion!
We camped at somenice campgrounds and had yuy dinners…
…and nice walks

On the last day we headed into Queens to check out the NYC Science Museum

Campground were closed soearly in the season on a Monday night so we camped in a state forest in Massachusetts

On the Homestead
Sugaring season lasted 6 weeks and we collected 60-70 gallons of sap from our 8 tapped trees. It took me 3 8 hour days of boiling to get..

Colleen found us 5 ducks to add to our homestead, afox got one the 1st nightbut the other four love swimming on the pond all day and then showing up in the morning to get food and lay an egg or two.
Colleen also scored us a free trampoloine on Craigslist, it only took her 5 hours to go take it apart and bring it home!
