GAME 62: RED SOX vs. DIAMONDBACKS

I mosied up to Stoney's on the corner of Bridge and Main, ordered up a pint of Paper City Brewery Stout (for only $2.75) and watched 4 innings of Matsuzaka pitching. The Sox were pretty anemic, It was 1-1 when I left, the only run Manny scoring on a Lowell double.

Back home I listened to the game with Gaelen on the Red Sox Porch as we played a gmae between the Dark Side of the Force (Gaelen) and the Light Side (Daddy-Moch) in the cardboard Fenway we built last week but pretty much gave up and went in to watch Mary Poppins with Gaelen and Molly when Timlin, back in the lineup allowed two runs to score with a bad throw to first that sailed into right field. Another loss for DiceK and everyone is on Lugo's case and I can't blame them, batting .213 with a OBP of about the same. The Sox really messed up not signing Orlando Cabrera after the 2004 season. Oh well, its the Sox, we still got a 9.5 game lead on the Yanks.
