GAME 19: RED SOX vs. BLUE JAYS

The Sox got crushed again by the Blue Jays losing 10-3. Tavarez didn't pitch too well and Wily Mo didn't help dropping a fly ball in the 6th. When the Sox lose like this, bad pitching and not hitting it's just no fun to listen to. I don't get upset but have better things to do with my time.

GAME 18: RED SOX vs. BLUE JAYS

After the exhileration of sweeping the Yanks the Sox came apart in the late innings and were unable to beat the strugglin' Jays who have dropped 5 in a row before tonight. The only highlight of this game was Dustin Pedroia's 2 run double in the 4th.

That 2-1 lead was quickly erased by a 2 run Frank Thomas homer in the 6th. The Jays added another run in the inning to lead 4-1. The Sox got one back in the bottom of the 6th on a throwing error and that was all for the Red Sox. The Jays added another run in the 8th and 2 more in the 9th as the bullpen struggled and the Sox squandered scoring opportunities by leaving men on base. Wili Mo Pena struck out 4 times and the line-up surely misses Coco who was sitting out with a strained oblique.
