GAMES 32-43

From May 9th through May 20th we were on the road and away from the Red Sox porch and the reach of the Red Sox Baseball Radio Network. Well almost. On the first leg South to the LEAF festival we picked up the game well into Pennsylvania as the Sox beat Toronto 9-3. That was the last Sox game I heard until the 19th when I was back at work and heard the Sox beat the Braves 13-3 in the first game of a double header. They lost the nightcap 14-0 :(. For the games in between I read about them in the paper, caught the scores on Fx Sports Radio or watched the progress on MLB.com's gameday stat board. The Sox took 2-3 from the Orioles including the Mother's Day Miracle when they scored 6 times in the bottom of the 9th to win 6-5. They took 3 of 4 from the AL Central leading Tigers and they took 2 of 3 from the NL East Braves over the weekend.
We were home for the last game against the Braves and Gaelen and I listened out on the Red Sox Porch while playing Red Sox Monopoly. V-tek's triple in the 1st gave the Sox a 3-0 lead and Youk hit his 6th home run to make it 6-0 and Kasson Gabbard, up from Pawtucket pitched awesome before the bullpen (including Pap) gave up some runs but the Sox held on and won 6-3. They went 7-3 in the games I missed and are now on top of the AL East with a 10.5 game lead and a MLB best record of 30-13.
