On Saturday we drove South to Hilo and visited Rainbow Falls where Gaelen and Colleen also climbed a huge Banyon Tree.
After shopping we headed into Puna where Gamma had a Spam Moco Loco for lunch at the Cafe that was once Verna's. We then dropped her off at the Point so she could meditate and headed to Kehena Beach for some ocean time. The surf was too big for Gaelen and his Boogie Board so he and Yaya amused themselves on the swing!
We spent the night on the land of a friend of Ben's and the next morning we went to the Warm Ponds for a swim before breakfast. Gaelen swam very well and was not afraid of the deep water, floating comfortably over it on his Boogie Board. He also swam underwater with his goggles on!
After our morning swim and breakfast we drove back up over the Volcano to Na'alehu thus completing our 7 day Around-the-Island-Camping and Beach Trip!
