Obama Elected President!

It has been a slow 2 weeks here in vermont. We have been busy just working and doing ordinary stuff. The snow we had stuck around for maybe 4 days and then was replaced by more warm weather. We had Daniel and Flora-se over for our feast of the Ancestors on November 2nd. They brought garlic from their farm and a pizza to join our Kutin Family Dressing, Pineapple Jello-Mold, Kmiecik Butter Cookies, Travis Sweet and Sour Cabbage and Glavin Pasta. It was nice to have them over. Earlier we had a fire where Colleen gave up negative judgements and I gave up my self-imposed role as TimeMaster. We then lit our Jack O'Lanterns in the Garden underneath the WinterTree as we sang our song to the Season honoring the LifeForce returning down into the Earth to nurture the WinterSeed.

Ambiana enjoying the snow!
The week was dominated by the presidential race election and we rejoiced when Obama was declared the winner.

Colleen works Tuesday thru Thursday and I get to spend the day with Ambiana before I go to work. We read book and play and do Art Projects. Ambiana loves to paint.

Gaelen spends every other weekend with us and this weekend he was a big help with my Farm Chore of tearing down the beaver dam across the street in Daniel's field. He was fascinated by how it was built and a bit concerned that we were destroying the beaver's work. I have wrestled with that myself but as the dam floods the fields it is necessary. The beavers can move upstream I told him and I hope they do because if they don't Daniel has asked a friend to hunt them down.

We had a fun time with Gaelen as always and on Sunday we took him up the mountain behind our house to show him the Fairy House. He was a bit disappointed with it and when I took him home he showed me his FairyHouse and I can see why he was because his is big and substantial while ours exists mostly in Ambiana's and our imaginations.
