Still Autumn...

We found a local running club CV Runners and hooked up with them for their weekly fun run on the rail trail along the Winooski River in Montpelier. It was a friendly bunch of older men and women running 2, 4 and 6 mile loops. We ran the four mile loop along the rive and back. After the run we picked up a freecycle twin mattress and boxspring in the slow process of furnishing our house. Kitchen chairs are hard to come by.

The colors on the trees are stunning and it is so beautiful here. Even though it has been wet and rainy we took a walk up in the wooded hills behind the house to immerse ourselves in the autumn splendor
