The Alaska-Hawai'i Connection!

We travelled up to Ho'okena beach on Wednesday for a day at the beach and to contribute and partake of the weekly Wednesday Potluck that happens there. Colleen made a Lilokoi Pie but we lacked a way to cool it so it would set but fortunately the Bar-B-Q guy had space in his cooler and it jelled just fine and was superdillyicious! YUM! Ambiana also stepped up and got into the surf "just like Gamma," she said as the waves washed over her (not really :) but it was a big improvement for her!

We also met up with our friends from Alaska. Shannon and Skyler and their son Kaya have just moved to the island, Dave Williams and his gal Marie are here for a month as are Ben & Laurel's neighbors from Seward, Gail and Ryan and their daughter Bijou and Gail's son Noah! They came down for a sunset swim and it was great fun to be here with them all.

Ambiana really likes Bijou :)
