Our last days @ Wairuna Organics

We worked hard our last week at Wairuna, I mowed the entire lawn while Colleen weeded alot and packed all the salad and stirfry for the farmers market. Yaya was a big help. especially riding around in the wheelbarrow!!!

Her favorite time of the day was to watch Shawn milk the cows!!!

Aude from France arrived on Friday night and we really enjoyed her company. She has been WWOOFing in NZ for 7 months and she shared her stories with us. We were surprised to hear how hard we worked at Wairuna compared to the places she had been. She said the farms that sold the crop for $$$ generally worked the WWOOFers harder.

Pia arrived home on Saturday and drove us to the bus on Sunday, we are headed north to Taieri Mouth to the Beecroft Garden Trust.

We made our weekly call to Gaelen on Saturday morning to reach him Friday night. We love talking with him and staying in touch!
