Our first 2 Weeks

We have been in our new home 2 weeks today. It seems like a lot longer. We have had to bomb the place twice to get rid of fleas left behind by the previous dog which has been a hassle. We have also been very busy looking for work. We have taken time to explore the woods and hills behind our place and they are stunning. Here is a picture of Colleen and Ambiana climbing the small rise in our backyard.

We love our new kitchen which is open and light unlike the narrow confines of our South Hadley kitchen. It is a treat to be indoors after a summer of tents and floors and living outdoors.

We took a hike up the mountain logging road and it came out on this beautiful swampy pond.

Ambiana and I have taken advantage of all the free time to make some bread!

Ambiana loves the little stream that runs beside our home and fishes there all the time!

We have slowly been aquiring furniture: a couch, table and bookself so far. Ambiana has made this her apartment. Here she is on the ground floor while Coco has the third floor and Bear-bear the second!!

This is the mountain across the road and the view from our frontyard and living room. It really is a beautiful spot and we love it.
