IOWA

We left Tony's on Saturday and drove into Boulder to see about getting our tent fixed by Kelty as the fly's zippers have failed and one of the poles is broken. We discovered that Kelty has discontinued the tent and decided to trade it in at REI for a REI 4 person tent. I was at first reluctant to do this as we have lots of memories in this tent but Colleen made a good point that since it was already broken and the tent discontinued we were better off with a new tent that REI would stand behind. So here it is.

It is a bit smaller than our old tent but easier to put up and after a night in it we had already begun to love it. Ambiana cetainly likes it as you can see here with her relaxin' in it readin' a book!

Since our time WWOOFing at the Oasis was cut short Colleen found us a farm in Iowa to WWOOF at. We showed up at J-Z Farm on Monday and spent 2 nights there with Susan the owner.

We helped her plant broccoli and kale and camped out on her fields. She was very knowledgable and helpful concerning our plans to start our own CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Farm and had lots of advice for us.
