RED SOX 49-32

Catcher Kevin Cash socked a 3 run homer last night as the Sox took 2 of 3 from the Diamondbacks and Tim Wakefield outpitched Randy Johnson for a 5-0 win.

Previously the Sox dropped 2 of 3 to the Cardinals and took 2 of 3 from the Phillies. They are 1 game up on the Rays and start a 3 game series in Houston to finish off Interleague play then head to Tampa for a showdown with the Rays.

Big Papi is still out with a wrist injury but JD Drew has stepped up.
