Red Sox split 2 games with Indians

The Red Sox split the 2 game series with the Indians. After getting beat 9-2 after leading 2-0 on Tuesday when the Sox bats could not get going, they exploded during the 6th inning of thursdays game plating 12 runners before recording an out. This set an American Leauge record for most runs before recording an out and tied the Major Leauge record. The Sox entered the 6th behind 3-1 and by the time the dust cleared it was 13-3 with the Sox in the lead.

Jason Bay lead the way with a 3 run homer and 5 RBIs. Rocco Baldell, back from the DL made a great catch in center (Jacoby was sitting out with a sore hamstring for the 2nd straight game) and also knocked in a few runs.

Wake is now 4-1 and the ace of the Red Sox
