I laid a 20′ x 14′ deck and framed up the walls. Colleen has a door and we already have the two windows so i am doing complete wall construction; studs, sheathing, housewrap and windows all at once. Makes for a heavy wall to lift but I have Colleen to help and next week Gaelen!!! Doing the small walls in the back portion was more difficult as I had to plumb and level them all with each other and I did the sheathing separate as I am using 3/4″ CDX instead of 3/8th”. It rained a bunch but I am set up with a canopy to work under and the wood getting wet does not stress me out this time, I wonder how much time I spent covering and uncovering the long house with tarps while building it. With the walls done it is time for the posts in the middle and the beams that will support the 1st floor!

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: With the foundation and drainage complete we began work on the walk-in basement.
