Music? The cornstarch was the big attraction!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/nwf3.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>and face paint.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/nwf4.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>and hat making<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/nwf5.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/nwf6.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>Off we go to dinner<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/nwf7.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Jakobi leads the way<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Colleen&#8217;s 37th Birthday Hike<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike1.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For her birthday Colleen wanted to hike part of the Long Trail as a family! So she planned a 6 mile loop in and back over 3 days. Here we are at the start on Friday Night.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike2.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">We hiked 1.2 miles that night on the Babcock Extension trail and set up camp off the trail above muddy pond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike3.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>Our 1st night camp.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike4.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The gals by Muddy Pond.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike5.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>Muddy Pond<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike6.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>We hiked the next day to the the junction with the Long Trail<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike7.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>and built rock people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike7a.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>Then we entered Devil&#8217;s Gulch.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike8.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike9.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike10.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>Lots of cool rock formations<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike11.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike12.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><span style=\"text-align: left;\">The girls were such great hikers, way beyond our expectations and we made it 2 miles to our end point before noon where there was a great overlook.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike13.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><span style=\"text-align: center;\">This is the shelter; the camping wasn&#8217;t great so we decided to hike back a mile to camp by another pond.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike14.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike15.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>Back through the Gulch<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike16.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>Ambiana promptly fell in the pond!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2013\/Sept\/hike17.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>But we had a warm fire to warm her up once she was done swimming.<\/p>\n<p
