It had rained all day, nay all week but at 6pm the skies cleared and we had a great view of the transit on the viewer Karen built on her telescope. Lots of folks turned out, from kids to grandparents for an event that won&#8217;t happen again for over 100 years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2012\/June\/transitb.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>Cole checks out the transit<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2012\/June\/transit_small.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>that little black spot is Venus crossing the face of our Sun!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2012\/June\/transit2.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2012\/June\/transit3.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">WWOOFers<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2012\/June\/wwoofers.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/>We had 4 wwoofers staying with us for awhile, really 3.5 as one, Carolyn, not pictured, works full time and has little time to help out, She was s&#8217;posed to be with us to October but has realized her plate is too full and is moving on this week. But her brother Nick, on the left, was with us for 3 days and was a great help moving all the boards up to the building site. Hillary and David were with us for 10 days and were a great help in the garden and around the homestead.
