Both the U-32 Boys &amp; Girls Teams won their Div. II State Championship races and are headed to New Englands in 2 weeks,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/xcountry1.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4055\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambiana ran a fun race and we enjoyed running from point to point to cheer her on, Being a cross country parent is so much fun! It was a beautiful day and we surprised Ambiana with the whole family turning out to see her run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/xcountryA.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4056\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Hobart Cluster Loop Hike +<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/hobie4.PNG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4060\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On Friday I hiked up Hobart. It was a beautiful sunny day and with the leaves off the trees the views were expansive.  On the way back I thought I was hiking to Little Hobie but ended up on a summit to the East and thus discovered Hobie III and Hobie IV.  I call the hike the Hobie Cluster Loop<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/hobart.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4057\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>The view from the summit of Hobie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/hobie2.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4058\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Some stunning cliffs on the way down Hobie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/hobie3.PNG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4059\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Halloween 5K<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/loon.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4061\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday Colleen and I ran on the Halloween 5K in Montpelier. Colleen dressed up as a loon. I was inspired by the Cross Country Meet on Saturday and did not dress up as I wanted to run a fast race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/3rdplace.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4063\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I started off fast and kept up the pace and finished 3rd overall (out of 42) with a time of 21:15 and got to stand on the podium and won a $10 gift certificate to Onion River Outdoors which sponsored the race. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webscorer.com\/racedetails?raceid=296327&amp;did=354033\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Here are the results<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Colleen in Phoenix<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/stacey.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4065\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Colleen spent the previous 10 days in Phoenix visitng her childhood friend Stacey and her family and taking in a training .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/stacey2.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4066\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Treehouse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/OCTOBER\/treehouse.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4068\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Out treehouse is looking nice.
