She ran the 75m hurdles, competed in the Long Jump and ran the 2nd leg of the 4x100m relay. She came in 17th in hurdles, 10th in Long Jump and their relay team finished 3rd!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/MAY\/longjump.PNG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3452\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/MAY\/trackmeet.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Jakobi is in the far lane!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Adamant 1\/2 Marathon Relay<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/MAY\/race.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3454\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday Ambiana and Iran the Adamant 1\/2 Marathon as a relay team. Colleen did as well finding her partner in the sign up tent. I ran the 1st 8 mile leg and Ambiana and Colleen ran the 2nd 5 mile leg. It was a beautiful sunny warm day and the dirt road course was beautiful. There were lots of hills! I ran my leg in 64 minutes and Ambiana ran her 5 mile leg in 45 minutes for a combined time of 1:49. We placed 1st (out of 2 teams) in the mixed relay division and each of us got a $10 gift cars to Onion River Sports, a red mug and a bumper sticker. We also were a raffle winner and claimed a jar of Chocolate Peanut Butter!   Colleen ran her leg in about 50 minutes.  It was a fun race!  It was also Mothers Day and Van Halen Day! (44 years ago on May 8th I saw Van Halen at the Toledo Sports Arena!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">FTY Kids<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2022\/MAY\/miriam.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3455\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Miriam made her first foray onto the FTY truck with her brother Silas!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jakobi&#8217;s Track Meet Jakobi competed in her first track meet of the season on Saturday at U-32.
