Party in the Long House<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Halloween was a busy weekend. Jakobi went to parties on both Friday and Saturday night and we hosted a pizza, potluck and dance party in the Long House Saturday Night. Friday was a beautiful sunny Autumn day but Saturday and Sunday was pouring rain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nonetheless the pizza was good and the playlist better as we rocked it out with a fire in the fireplace on the Long House Dance floor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trick or Trot 5k<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ambiana, Colleen and I woke up early on Sunday and headed into Montpelier for the Halloween Trick or Trot 5k in the pouring rain. About 50 hard core costumed runners showed up to dash in the rain up Elm St and onto the North Branch Nature Center Trails for a 5k loop,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colleen was a Hippocorn and Ambiana was Unipottamus while I ran as Spork, Spocks love child from the episode in which he travelled back in time to 1969 and ended up ingesting a controlled substance at Woodstock and hooking up with a a hippie chick in the mud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
