Jakobi has her State Gymnastic Competition, Colleen is boiling sap and I am starting on the sauna. Winter sure was short and it feels like we are a month ahead of where we were the last few years at this time in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Construction Update : Sauna<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2021\/APRIL\/deck1.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2602\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I built the deck for the sauna. On Saturday I poured concrete in the concrete block footers and framed up the deck on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2021\/APRIL\/deck2.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2603\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It is 12&#8242; x 8&#8242; framed with 2&#8243; x 6&#8243; hemlock joists spaced 24&#8243; on center with R23 6&#8243; Rockwool insulation beneath a deck of 1&#8243; x 8&#8242; x 8&#8242; hemlock boards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2021\/APRIL\/deck3.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2604\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sauna itself will have an interior of 7&#8242; 8&#8243; x 8&#8242; with a 4&#8242; x 8&#8242; covered porch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2021\/APRIL\/dam1.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2605\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambiana worked on the dam to create the plunge pool in the creek!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Jakobi&#8217;s State Gymnastics Results<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2021\/APRIL\/bobi1.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2614\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2021\/APRIL\/gym1.PNG\n\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2609\" width=\"705\" height=\"288\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have had a week of temperatures in the 70&#8217;s, Ambiana started Track at U-32 (pictured above heading out to her 1st practice!)
