Colleen and Debbie have been friends since high school and our girls and her boys are fast friends enjoying several outings a year together. It was nice to have them in the house and we took them to our favorite swimming holes. So nice to just turn on the gas and have a fire to cook over rather than build a fire and wait 45 minutes till it burns down to a grillable heat<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/debbie8.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1946\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/debbie7.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1948\"\/><figcaption><strong>OHANA<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video controls src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/debbievisits.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Jakobi&#8217;s 11th Birthday Party<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/party1.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1949\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Jakobi turns 11 on July 28th and we celebrated her birthday on the 25th (Gaelen&#8217;s and Gamma&#8217;s Birthday) with a small party, cookout, movie and trampoline sleepover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/party2.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1950\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Christine, Nora, Levi and Effie were the guests for quesadillas on the deck followed by cake, a treasure hunt, much bouncing on the trampoline and then a movie in the Long House Cinema before sleeping under the stars on the trampoline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Treehouse Update:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/tree1.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1951\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of the weekend I sided the deck side of the treehouse with grateful help from Colleen holding the ladder as I got up high.  Siding is now done until I get scaffolding and help to do the rest of it. Time to build steps and doors and put in the windows and the heater which I tested this week and which works!!!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/tree2.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1952\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">Infra Red Sauna<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/IRsauna.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1959\" width=\"305\" height=\"407\"\/><figcaption><strong> We turned our shower stall into an Infra Red Sauna. <\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/IMG_2940.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1960\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I built a rack for the lights years ago and used it over the course of a Winter but it has spent the past 5 years under the Long House. I resurrected it and built a a new truss for the bulbs that would fit over the shower handle so now we can enjoy the rejuvenating and healthy benefits of near infra red light in the comfort of our cozy shower stall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/view.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1953\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I scored a chaise lounge in a free pile on College St in Montpelier and found a cushion for the back in a Worcester free pile and now the porch is my favorite spot to sit and read or listen to RED SOX GAMES!!!!  The season began on Friday July 24th with a 13-2 win over Baltimore. I didn&#8217;t miss baseball when it was gone but realized listening to the game that more than the ballgame I love listening to Joe Castiglione, Lou Merloni and Will Farrell talk about baseball over the course of the ballgame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center\">What I am listening too this week<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/folder.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1954\" width=\"398\" height=\"398\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Bob Dylan, 79 years old and still putting out quality work. He is a poet and this album is full of wonderful poems set to music. No one does it quite like him and he&#8217;s been doing it practically non stop for 60 years. What a legend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mochiandcolleen.com\/images\/2020\/JULY\/cover.JPG\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1955\" width=\"389\" height=\"389\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Black Eyed Peas minus Fergie have put out a Latin influenced disco hip hop party album that grows on me with each listen and the album ends with a moving Covid19 song, NEWS TODAY,  that perfectly captures the moment in time we are living through.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Debbie, Hayden and Spencer came up from NJ to spend a few days with us.
