Burying the Placenta

Ambiana and I planted the placenta in our garden, what was left anyway after omelets and lasagna. Ambiana and I are forging a new relationship as mommy is with baby kamechik. We spent two hours in the water at Lake Elmore just the two of us. Our world is changing yet again..

Ambiana wanted to place tombstone on the hole, we settled on 2 rocks to honor the spot.

Julie Weigand, fellow Girdwoodian ex-pat came for a brief visit while at a week long session at Vermont College for her online degree progam. Haven't seen her in 7 years, would not have seen her this time except for Facebook. It was sweet to see her but way to brief, so many folk i wanted to reminisce about with her...and now I can't for the life of me remember the name of jonas' friend from buffalo who lives up crow creek rd and has a baby with claressa???

Eggplant in our neglected garden, we have a WWOOFer coming to stay with us for a month in 3 weeks, lots have contacted us this summer but those who say they are coming have all failed to show up. I am hoping this one will show up as she is buying a plane ticket from France to Burlington to wwoof with us.

Tomatoes...we have been enjoying salad and peas and cucumbers from the garden.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Beautiful pictures of a beautiful family!! So very happy for you. If you're still looking for a name, what about Oakley, Ananda, Lucy, Chiara or Zania/Zanya? So many nice girls names to choose from, I know it's a hard decision! Again congratulations!! Jean (Colleen's co-graduate from India)

I'm so trying to be patient while waiting for a name. But, I have to admit that I check your site about 30 times a day in hopes for updates. Any updates, I just love to see how things are going. Wish I could be there!

Just incase you are still looking for names, how about... Clover, Blythe, Augie, Alice, Polly, Poppy, Shanti, Aretha, Lelu, Lola, Delia... So many names. Good luck finding the one that fits your gorgeous daughter!
