Red Sox Spring Training

We joined Tony, my mom and my dad in Ft Meyers on Sunday. Tony has rented a phat house for a week and we are living large in it. Ambiana especially loves the in ground pool.

On Monday we all headed out to the City oh Palms Park for a Spring Training game between the red Sox and the Detroit Tigers. All of us except my father who opted to spend the day with his ex ex wife Zauzi.

Ambiana was excited for the game and wore all her Red Sox gear. Even Colleen donned a Red Sox jersey for the game and promised to say nothing negative about baseball for the duration of the game.

This is my 1st Spring training game in 30 years of being a Red Sox fan and it was great fun to be there!

Uncle Tony found us tickets for the game even though it was sold out. He is the sponsor for this trip and we are very grateful to him and are doing our part by cooking all the meals.



Everyone but Varitek and Drew were in the lineup and Brad Penny pitched 3 innings shut-out innings. The Sox hit four home runs in a row in the 6th inning and won the game 7-6.

Ambiana's favorite part was singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch!
