HELIUM
Helium (He), atomic number 2, is a noble gas that formed billions of years ago in the hearts of stars through nuclear fusion. It eventually found its way to Earth, where it is primarily found in natural gas deposits. Discovered in 1895, Helium has since been crucial in various fields, from filling balloons to cooling superconducting magnets in MRI machines. It also plays a vital role in deep-sea diving, where it is used in trimix breathing gases to reduce risks like nitrogen narcosis.
In the Universe, Helium makes up about 24% of the observable universe's elemental mass, second only to hydrogen. It is abundant in stars but relatively rare on Earth, making up just 0.00052% of the Earth's atmosphere. Helium is produced from the radioactive decay of heavy elements like uranium and thorium and can be found in varying concentrations in natural gas. In the human body, Helium is not naturally present.
The Helium Card symbolizes elevation and liberation. It represents a time when one can rise above challenges, gaining clarity and perspective on their circumstances. The card encourages detachment from burdens and the release of limiting beliefs, allowing for greater freedom and lightness in life. While suggesting a time for growth and ascension, it also warns against becoming disconnected from reality. Grounding oneself remains crucial to navigating life's complexities while embracing the lightness Helium represents.
